Question

Is there anything I need to do before traveling?

Answer

Yes, the UK now requires US visitors to apply for an Electronic Travel Authorization before visiting. See the Travel page for info and link to apply.

What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code for the wedding ceremony is Semi-Formal: Knee-length, midi or maxi dresses and suits. UK weather is unpredictable, even in July, so we recommend bringing a jacket or sweater for the evening. The ceremony will be outdoors, weather permitting.

Is there a registry?

Answer

We're so excited to celebrate our special day with you, especially knowing many of you are traveling a long way to join us. Your love and support is the best gift. However, for those who have expressed an interest in contributing, we've set up a honeymoon/home fund on the Registry page of this website to help us start our married life together. We're asking for no boxed gifts since we're living abroad in a small apartment.

Do I need to rent a car?

Answer

We have a wedding shuttle to bring guests from Doubletree Hilton Bath to the venue at 1:00pm on Saturday, July 19th for the 2pm ceremony. The shuttle will offer two return trips from the venue back to Doubletree Hilton: 8:30pm and 12:00am (midnight). There will also be a shuttle to bring guests from Folly Farm to Bath Spa Station at 11am on Sunday following the farewell Breakfast at Folly Farm. If you plan to join us for Welcome Drinks on Friday July 18th, you will need to sort out your own transportation. See the Travel page for more info on hiring a taxi or renting a car. There is a parking lot at our venue for about 20 cars.

Bath has become one of our favorite getaways from London over the last few years, and we think it will be the perfect place to share our UK adventure with you and celebrate our marriage!
