Karina and Joe first met at a bar, Renegades Country Bar. They met through a mutual friend unintentionally, at first Karina didn't want anything to do with Joe. A few days went by and Joe asked Karina out to dinner. He picked her up in his baby blue 1996 Ford Bronco, took her on the most romantic date on Lake Worth ave (far from romantic). But that was it, they have been together 7 years since.

Joe put a lot of thought and planned the perfect proposal for Karina! They just moved to Kissimmee, Fl to start another adventure together. Karina's sisters (Erika and Sara) we're coming up to visit, Joe used this to his advantage. On that Saturday, Karina was casually getting ready with her sisters to go explore the Gaylord Palms Resort and have brunch. Joe, Karina, Erika, and Sara head to the Gaylord Palms walking through Joe's strategic planned path (obviously Karina was completely clueless), they get to a spot where Joe asked Erika to take a photo of them. Erika walks away to take a photo from above and when Karina looks at Erika she sees her parents and Joe's parents come out of nowhere! Completely confused, Karina turns to Joe and finds him down on one knee with a ring in his hand. Instant tears, happiness and love!!
