FAQs

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We would love to see our friends and family get fancy with us! We are requesting a formal dress code. Please, no jeans. Formal dress code: long dresses, suits, and ties. Black tie is absolutely optional. We do value your comfort though, so as you dance the night away, if those heels are to high or top button too tight, feel free to loosen up a bit.

Question

When is the last day to RSVP?

Answer

Last day to RSVP is July 1, 2021. We are planning a catered meal so, unfortunately, after this date we will have to assume it’s a no if there’s no response.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

In an ideal world, we’d say the more the merrier, however, our venue has limited space and we are planning a sit down dinner. If they are listed on the invitation or your invitation has “+ 1”, we’d love to see all or both of you. Otherwise, please do not bring additional guests.

Question

Will dinner be provided?

Answer

Yes. A buffet style meal will be provided for the number of guests that RSVP. Please RSVP ASAP to ensure you have a plate and a seat.

Question

Will there be alcohol or BYOB?

Answer

We will not be having any alcohol served and our venue will not permit any outside beverages. We will have coffee, tea, and water to keep you refreshed.

Question

Will children be welcomed?

Answer

Kids are definitely welcomed, however if you would like to use this as a date night opportunity and get a sitter for the night, we encourage that as well. Please note on your RSVP if children will be attending.

Question

When should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony starts at 5:30 PM. Please plan to arrive by 5 PM to ensure you get seated by our ushers and get to enjoy this special moment with us. Unfortunately, after 5:20 PM guests will no longer be allowed to walk into the ceremony and will be asked to wait in the common room to wait for it to be over.

Question

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We have hired an incredible photographer and videographer to help us capture our day. We ask that all guests keep their phones away during the ceremony and be present with us. After the ceremony, snap away! Be sure to tag us on social media with #jk_wedding!
