Let's get married!

In January of 2020, Joe embarked on a journey to the West Indies to continue his education at St. George’s University, School of Medicine, where he anticipated spending the next two years studying to become a physician. In March of 2020, COVID-19 becomes a pandemic leading to Joe’s evacuation from Grenada and finding himself on a charter flight heading towards Tampa, FL. He finally made his way back to New Hampshire where Jessica and Joe connected online and decided to meet in person after many long FaceTime calls. Given the extent of the pandemic shutdown, they met in a parking lot behind a closed Starbucks for a “picnic” as their first date… and the rest is history!

In August 2022, Joe and Jessica moved to Chicago where Joe completed his third year of medical school. Close to three years after they first met, Joe proposed at the top of the Navy Pier Ferris Wheel overlooking the Chicago Skyline and Lake Michigan coastline.
