We're getting married!

Who would have thought that a friendship born in Illinois would blossom into love in Boston? It all began with the courage to ask Janice out on a beach date. From taking her to restaurants to show off my grilling skills, to sharing breathtaking views in both Boston and Chicago, to being silly and laughing over little jokes each day — these moments have brought joy to both of us. I see happiness in her eyes, as I do in myself, through the memories we’ve created. We support each other through times of uncertainty, offer comfort after long, tiring days, and bring calm when one of us is angry or stressed. I envision us overcoming life’s challenges together. It feels almost miraculous that we found each other in this world. I will continue to cherish our relationship, love her with all my heart, and create a lifetime of memories filled with happiness.

I knew he was the one when hours of talking flew by and we had the most fun when we were together. With James, everything is comfortable, natural, and I can confidently be my silly self. It was like this since we were just friends, so I knew I wanted him in my life forever. I didn’t know it was possible for me to develop feelings for a 남사친 but over 7 years I watched him grow and one day I was thinking, “Why is he kinda cute?!” As we started dating, I realized we get along better than I expected and even as the world’s the biggest introvert, spending time together felt healing and safe. James makes me feel protected and cared for. He knows how to be thankful and sorry. He is constantly showering me with love and hypes me up a billion times a day. I love him and promise to do the same. He is the one I want to share happy memories, overcome sad moments, and live the rest of my life with.
