We’re so excited to share a few of our favorite château to visit in the Loire Valley with you.

This incredible château is perched on top of the Loire river bed.  Other than the Royal Palace of Versailles, it is the most visited château in France.

Château de Chenonceau

The dominant renaissance style château is there for all to see well before you even enter the town as its position high above the Loire river makes it obvious from quite a distance.

Château d'Amboise

At the invitation of Francis I, Leonardo da Vinci came to live at this château and stayed here for the last three years of his life, devoting himself to perfecting his inventions.
