Where to even to begin.. we met on the most random Sunday evening in January 2021, in a small beach town Vero Beach, Florida. Jake was on the last night of his golf trip and Jules was visiting her parents. We happened to both go to Grind and Grape with our friends for a quick drink, when our friend groups started to mingle. Our connection was instantaneous, as if we've known each other forever. We spent the next few hours getting to know each other (some would say flirting). Jake retuned home to Philly the next morning. A couple days later, Jake asked for a "FaceTime date", we talked until the early hours of the morning. It was clear that we both wanted to see each other again. So, Jules got on flight and flew to Philadelphia from South Florida for the weekend. It was yet again clear the connection was there and it was just easy and so much fun spending time together. That led to two years of many, many frontier miles back and forth from PHL to PBI, countless face times, a crazy puppy, and many spontaneous trips together. Finally, in the fall of 2023, the long awaited day came where the distance was finally closed. Jules moved from her home in sunny South Florida to a cute 2 bedroom apartment in Philadelphia with Jake and Capri. In November 2023, we were in Florida and Jake proposed on the beach and we celebrated down the street at our beloved, Grind and Grape, where it all began, with our family and closest friends. We can't wait to celebrate our love with you all, see you at the alter!
