What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is formal/semi-formal attire. But we want you to feel comfortable, so if those shoes are too high or that top button is too tight, let it all hang loose.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you.

Are kids invited?

Answer

We love kids—we really do. But we want our wedding to be your night off! If your invite does not include your kids, please be understanding.

Can I pay for my drinks cash or with a card?

Answer

A CASH bar will be available. You can pay with cash or swipe your card.

By when should I RSVP?

Please let us know by the 4th of August 2021.

What should I do if I can’t make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.”

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

“Yes, we encourage guests to post pictures on to their social media channels, our only request is that you tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #LiveLaughLoveNel, so we can keep track of all of your pictures!”

Can I bring my own drinks?

Answer

In short, NO! Padlangs is a licenced facility and holds a liquor licence. Penalties will be levied to the Bride and Groom if any alcohol or soft drinks are brought in. Please spare US the hassle - thank you.

May I take a candle/flowers home as a souvenir?

Answer

Please leave the candles, but kindly help yourself to flowers :) We'd love for you to celebrate the month of Spring.

COVID-19

In light of COVID, we thought it's best to answer some questions you may have. HOW MANY GUESTS WILL BE ATTENDING? We have opted for an intimate wedding and therefore, no more than 70 Guests will be attending. WILL SOCIAL DISTANCING BE APPLIED? We want our guests to enjoy themselves and have a good time. We do however respectfully ask that you maintain social distancing. DO WE HAVE TO WEAR MASKS? Even though we want to provide a comfortable experience,all guests will be required to wear a mask. This is merely for your own safety and of course, everyone else's. WILL SANITISERS BE AVAILABLE? Sanitisers will be distributed throughout the Venue and readily available at all times. We encourage you to please make use of this at various intervals. HOW WILL "CURFEW" AFFECT THE WEDDING? If a curfew is still around at the time of our wedding, we'll adjust the program accordingly and be in touch. This will be communicated to you in due course.
