We're getting married!

Julia and Josh first met during their freshman year at Clarkson University in Potsdam, New York, introduced by mutual friends in the Brooks residence hall. Sharing the same Freshman Seminar class, they quickly found themselves spending more and more time together. Although their paths briefly diverged, they stayed close friends throughout college, often running into each other around campus and in town. Fast forward to their senior year: a conversation at the bar reignited their interest in each other. From that moment on, they were inseparable. After graduating, they remained at Clarkson for graduate school, with Josh earning his MBA and Julia completing her master’s degree in Civil Engineering. They graduated side by side in 2022, ready to take on life together. Now, Julia and Josh are building a life together in Mechanicville, where they’ve been ever since. Whether it’s golfing, traveling to visit family, or even something as simple as grocery shopping, they love doing everything together. They’re not just partners—they’re best friends who bring out the best in each other every day. Looking ahead, they dream of buying a house in the Capital Region, welcoming a dog into their family, and eventually starting the next chapter together. Someday, they hope to move south to South Carolina to escape the snow and cold weather of the northeast. But for now, they’re cherishing every moment together, excited to get married and live out their forever love story.
