JJ and Temo did just that.

They met in health class at Santa Ana High School. Temo showed up late, skateboard in hand, and sat next to JJ. He made his move by offering her one earbud and playing his favorite Nirvana songs. The chemistry was instant.

After college, life took them in different directions—JJ to San Diego, Temo back to Santa Ana. They spent two and a half years apart but eventually found their way back to each other.

Now, they’ve built a happy life in Long Beach with their cat, Pollito. They share a love for music, art, food, nature, and books, and feel grateful to be part of the Long Beach community.

As newlyweds, they’re excited to celebrate this next chapter with the people who’ve helped shape their journey. Your love and support mean the world.
