We met on October 20, 2021. After liking each other on Hinge and exchanging a few texts, we met up for drinks at Antiques on High in German Village (peep engagement photos). What could have been just another normal Wednesday night turned into one of the best nights. We lost track of time sipping on cocktails late into the night. We even made plans to go to a concert together the very next day which sparked one of our favorite things to do together. Fast forward 6 months later, we saw that same artist in London on our first international trip together. We soon found out that we had a lot in common! In addition to concerts and traveling, we both love sports, trying new restaurants, long walks that inevitably end up at a local bar, and spending time with friends and family. When we’re not out on the town, we love a cozy night in. Usually accompanied by a nice bottle of wine, homemade pizza, and a pint of Graeter's with our favorite show on. Hannah claims her spot in the nook that JJ so gentlemanly sacrifices for her (that's when she knew it was love). After almost four years of loving this life together, we decided to make it official on August 8, 2025 when JJ proposed during our favorite summer trip to Ludington, MI. He planned the perfect picnic date with a stroll on the beach where he got down on one knee in the middle of the sand. Hannah was so excited that she can’t remember if she actually said yes (she most certainly did). We spent the rest of the weekend celebrating with family and friends and then jumped right into wedding planning. We can’t wait to celebrate with you all soon!
