FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by February 7th

Question

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

Yes, please see the schedule page for details of other events before and after the wedding.

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

We have a hotel block at The Kimpton Journeyman Hotel, located in Milwaukee’s Historic Third Ward, just a few minutes from our venue. The block provides a discounted rate for both Friday and Saturday night stays (discounted rate is $199 pre-tax per night). If you require any shoulder nights, please contact Gaby or JJ. We will reach out to the hotel on your behalf and see if those additional nights can be added at the wedding block rate. *Wedding block rate on shoulder nights will be based on availability at time of request.*

Question

What parking is available at the hotel?

Answer

Valet parking is available for $45 per night, or there’s a public parking structure nearby for ~$26 per night.

Question

What’s the dress code?

Answer

Cocktail Attire: We love a little drama, personality, and shine — whether that’s bold color, fun textures, or statement jewelry. Dress to celebrate! Need ideas? Think velvet, satin, or a pop of sparkle; perfect for a March evening in Milwaukee.

Question

Is there parking at the wedding venue?

Answer

There is street parking, but this can be unpredictable in the city (not to mention with Wisconsin weather). Highly encourage utilizing the hotel shuttle or an Uber/Lyft if you can.

Question

Is transportation provided?

Answer

Yes! A shuttle will run between The Kimpton Journeyman and our venue before and after the wedding to make getting to and from the celebration easy and stress-free.

Question

What will the food be like?

Answer

We’re excited to share an Italian-inspired menu featuring small plates and cocktail-style dining. There will be plenty of food served throughout the night no formal plated dinner. If you have any dietary restrictions, please let us know when you RSVP — we’re happy to accommodate.

Question

Will there be seating?

Answer

Yes! The ceremony will have seating of course. Following the ceremony we will go downstairs to the Madcap Lounge, with plenty of tables, lounges, and cozy seating areas to relax and enjoy. It won’t be a traditional seated dinner but more of a “mingle and enjoy” vibe.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Please review your invite to determine if your children were specifically invited. If they aren't, feel free to reach out to us so we can discuss/plan accordingly.
