Amanda and JJ met while looking for love through Bumble, and lucky for JJ she swiped right. Despite the exchange of phone numbers and some romantic banter, their busy lives took over and they put dating on the back burner. Amanda wanted to spend more time crafting (surprise!), and JJ was far too busy playing music to settle down, or so he thought. A month later, Amanda was out with friends at Avanti (a fun nightlife spot in Denver) when she received a text from JJ! JJ, across the bar with friends celebrating a birthday, recognized Amanda from her Bumble profile and asked if they could say hello by the soda fountains (what a nerd, this guy!). She agreed, so they went on their very first date the following Tuesday (August 15, 2017). After a few glasses of wine and too many laughs to count, the two knew this was about to become something very special.... ...and here we are!
