What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/cocktail attire. Ladies should wear cocktail dresses, and the gentlemen should wear a suit and tie or a sports coat. Please, stay away from anything in the realm of white or beige.

When should I/we plan to arrive in Sintra, Portugal ?

Answer

Please try to arrive by Friday August 30th as we will have separate bachelor and bachelorette events scheduled on Saturday.

How far is Penha Longa from Lisbon airport?

Answer

The resort is a half an hour drive from the airport (LIS) and a taxi will run no more then 40 EUR. If you require further information, or if you have other personal transportation requests, please contact our Concierge Desk at +351 21 924 90 11.

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

The ceremony will be outdoors in Fonte da Porca gardens

What should I do if I can’t make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We recommend that you arrive 30 minutes before the start of the ceremony, to make sure everyone is on time and we can get the party started as scheduled!

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

Yes, we encourage guests to post pictures on to their social media channels, our only request is that you tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #YOUHADMEATV so we can keep track of all of your pictures!

Si! For the cocktail hour we will have a wide selection of canapés in addition to an ericeira spider crab with bread toasts & olive oil. Through the later part of the evening you will have access to a full open bar, as well as a 4-course meal, a delicious wedding cake, and a variety of traditional Portuguese desserts! Our main mission is to get you stuffed and happy!
