We're getting married!

APRIL 2014 - HIGH SCHOOL It all started at church. Jithin and Sneha had been attending the same church since elementary school, but it wasn’t until high school that Jithin truly saw her in a new light. Her beauty, her intelligence, and the way she gracefully carried herself captivated him. He couldn’t help but feel drawn to her and knew he wanted to be more than just friends. Jithin found every excuse to talk to her, eager to learn about her interests and dreams. Every moment spent with her deepened his admiration, and before long, his feelings became undeniable. He made his move, and Sneha said yes. Jithin would eagerly drive to Sneha’s school just to see her and spend time by her side, filling their moments with laughter and growing affection. They saved what they could to surprise each other with thoughtful gifts, always finding ways to make each other feel loved and valued. AUGUST 2017 - COLLEGE DAYS Both attending Georgia State University, Jithin and Sneha spent nearly every moment together, finding joy in even the simplest activities. Whether they were eating lunch, studying side by side in the library, or exploring the city, they made everything they did together feel special. They would catch movies, visit their favorite bakeries, and sing their favorite songs on car rides home, filling their days with laughter and shared happiness. While they enjoyed these moments, they were also deeply committed to supporting each other's dreams and ambitions. They encouraged each other to chase their goals, helping one another study for the MCAT and nursing school exams, prepping for interviews, and perfecting every detail of each other’s applications. Together, they balanced hard work with the joy of simply being in each other’s company, strengthening their bond every step of the way. MAY 2020 - POST-GRAD When Jithin matched into medical school in Michigan and Sneha started NP school in Atlanta, their relationship entered a new chapter: long distance. But the miles didn’t weaken their bond—they only grew closer. They made it a priority to talk daily, visit each other as often as possible, and never let a day go by without reminding each other how much they meant to one another. Then came COVID, which brought an unexpected gift: Jithin having a whole year back home. They learned new and beautiful things about each other, had meaningful conversations about their relationship, grew closer to each other’s families, and cherished small moments like movie nights over FaceTime when apart. Together, they supported each other through stressful exams and busy schedules, traveled around the world, and made every effort to nurture their bond, turning an unexpected challenge into one of the most meaningful chapters of their love story. MAY 2024 - PROPOSAL By 2024, Sneha had begun her career as a Nurse Practitioner, and Jithin was immersed in residency in Michigan. At this point, Jithin knew he couldn’t be without her any longer. They longed daily for each other's presence and to build their life together. Determined to create a proposal as extraordinary as their love, Jithin carefully planned a moment she would treasure forever. He chose Venice, Italy—a place Sneha had always dreamed of visiting. On a beautiful May day, Jithin proposed on the very bridge she had painted years ago and hung in her room. Surrounded by her siblings and best friend, Jithin got down on one knee and asked her to marry him.
