August 2019: Chloe was just about to start her senior year of college at Illinois State University. She decided to spend her first Saturday back on campus at a day party at The Lodge (ISU apartment complex). That afternoon, she went over to Sam Churchill and Olivia Asbridge’s apartment to hang out and in walked Jeremy, who had just gotten off the golf course. Before arriving at the apartment, he picked up a sandwich from Potbelly to eat prior to starting his afternoon at ISU. Chloe, starving, walked up to him and said, “can I please have a bite of that?”. He let her have a bite of it, and we hung out all day and decided to spend our evening in downtown Bloomington. Shoutout Potbelly for being the best ice breaker.
January 2023: We dated long-distance for just shy of 3.5 years. In that time, Chloe finished her accounting degree at ISU (1 hour apart) we were stuck in quarantine (2 hours apart), and Chloe started a job and moved up to Naperville (1 hour apart). In July of 2021, Jeremy purchased his first house. After having our independence and spending as much time together as we could, we decided to move in together. In January of 2023 Chloe moved to Coal City, which was the best decision we ever made.
July 2024: We got our precious mini-bernedoodle, Willow, who quickly became our favorite girl in the whole world. March 2026: We got our second mini-bernedoodle, Aspen. She is the sweetest girl ever!
March 2025: After being together for many years, we decided it was the best time to take our relationship to the next level. Jeremy took Chloe out to the Coal City Area Club and proposed in front of the lake on the most beautiful March day. After he popped the question (she obviously said “yes!!”), we had a small intimate gathering at our house to celebrate this new milestone. It truly was the best day.
