Reno-Tahoe International Airport

We recommend flying into the Reno-Tahoe airport. That way you can hit the slots to grab some last minute cash before heading our way! Shuttles will be available to pick up guests from the airport and take them to the venue. Please look for a driver holding a sign that reads "Jiron / Sellars Wedding" near the baggage claim area! If you'd like more freedom over the weekend, we recommend renting a car for the few days you're in Tahoe.

Driving Directions From Reno Airport:

Take 395 north to Interstate 80 west to Truckee. For the fastest route from Truckee, take the last Truckee exit at Donner Pass Road. Turn left on Donner Pass Road. Follow the road past Donner Lake about three miles up over the summit. Turn left at Sugar Bowl Rd. and our main entrance sign to Sugar Bowl. Follow the road in and veer to the right where the road splits into parking lots. There are directional signs that will lead you right into the courtyard for the hotel and reception area. If you prefer to stay on Interstate 80, take it over Donner Summit to the Norden/Soda Springs exit. Turn left on Highway 40, and continue about 3.5 miles past Sugar Bowl's Village Gondola parking lot to Sugar Bowl Road. Turn right and follow the road to the Main Parking Lot. Follow the road in and veer to the right where the road splits into parking lots. There are wedding signs that will lead you right into the courtyard for the hotel and reception area.

Take Donner Pass Road west past Donner Lake. Head three miles up and over the summit. (It's the fastest route from Truckee, and much quicker than Interstate 80.) Turn left at Sugar Bowl Rd. and our main entrance sign to Sugar Bowl. Follow the road in and veer to the right where the road splits into parking lots. There are directional signs that will lead you right into the courtyard for the hotel and reception area.

Take interstate 80 east, towards Donner Summit. Then exit at the Norden/Soda Springs off ramp, Exit 174. Turn right on Highway 40 eastbound, and continue 3.5 miles past Sugar Bowl's Village Gondola parking lot to Sugar Bowl Road. Turn right and follow the road to the Main Parking Lot. Follow the road in and veer to the right where the road splits into parking lots. There are directional signs that will lead you right into the courtyard for the hotel and reception area.

Take the Bay Bridge to Interstate 80, head east toward Sacramento/Reno. Just before you reach Donner Summit look for the "Sugar Bowl Next Exit" sign then exit at the Norden/Soda Springs off ramp. Turn right on Highway 40 eastbound, and continue 3.5 miles past Sugar Bowl's Village Gondola parking lot to Sugar Bowl Road. Turn right and follow the road to the Main Parking Lot. An assortment of private houses are available through Sugar Bowl Resort for the wedding weekend. They are located close to all of the festivities and allow more space for those that just need that extra bathroom. Shuttle from Airport to Venue

A shuttle will be running between the Reno Airport and Sugar Bowl Resort on Thursday and potentially Friday for those choosing to fly and requiring transportation. Please note on your RSVP whether you will require a ride to and from the airport. We will need your flight number in order to plan accordingly. More details to come as we get closer!

There is a multitude of rental companies available and ready to set you up with a sweet whip at the Reno airport. If you'd like more freedom over the weekend or are staying far from the venue, we recommend renting a car.
