Halloween 2021: We are both invited by our friends to be part of a group 'Survivor' halloween costume. This is the first photo we are ever in together. We won't start dating for another two years.

September 2023: Emily invites James to be a part of a (winning!) Ragnar team she is putting together, running an overnight relay from Muskegon to Traverse City.

December 9, 2023: The day we FINALLY started dating after months of the "talking stage." :)

February 2024: First of many days skiing together. Featuring Rachel!

June 2024: We travel to Texas for a wedding and James meets the whole Jipping family.

October 2024: We run the GR Half Marathon. James pulls Emily through to her PR!

December 2024: Our first time traveling to Chattanooga together! James was a sport and agreed to let Emily's dad take him spelunking for quite the immersive experience.

January 2025: We travel to Calgary, AB together. James meets the whole DeBoer family.

April 16, 2025: Engagement day! James proposes in Holland, MI on the beach in front of his family cottage. Both families are able to be there to celebrate that evening.

May 2025: We travel to Chattanooga for Allison's graduation

June 2025: Engagement photos!

Summer 2025: We attend many weddings together, every one making us more excited for August 8, 2026!

September 2025: We travel to KY and TN with James's sister Ally and her husband Daniel. We make many stops on the Bourbon Trail, visit Churchill Downs, and hike in the Smoky Mountains.
