We met at the University of Nebraska at Kearney in September of 2015 while Jinsol was taking her study abroad program. We didn't know it at the time, but we began building a loving bond that would ultimately lead to Jinsol moving to the United States to begin our new lives together. We met 5 times between when she left UNK and when she finally moved to Nebraska in February of 2020. During those years, we called daily and made time on the weekends to watch movies together online. The constant contact made the distance a lot easier to manage. Once we decided to get married, everything became even easier. We put all of our focus into getting started with Jinsol's immigration process. After going through the huge pile of paperwork, we finally submitted her K1 Fiancee Visa application to the federal government. Jinsol was accepted and now we are beginning the last steps of the process: getting married and filing for her greencard. Everything is going very well and we cannot wait to celebrate with all of our friends and family.
