Do I get a "Plus One"?

Unless your invitation specifically says 'and Guest' or names another person, please do not bring a plus one.

Will the ceremony be at the venue?

Answer

Yes, we are getting married on-site at Mallard Island.

Will transportation be provided?

Answer

No, we are not providing transportation to the venue. Uber and Lyft are easy to access on LBI and there is a large, free parking lot at Mallard Island if you prefer to drive yourself.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Please arrive 15 to 30 minutes before the ceremony start time so everyone can be seated and comfortable.

Where should I stay?

Answer

If you go to the "Travel & Stay" tab, you will see that we have hotel room blocks at The Holiday Inn, Hotel LBI and Spray Beach Hotel. However, there is no better way to enjoy LBI than staying in a traditional beach house with family and friends. Visit AirBNB or VRLBI to find the perfect rental!

What will the weather be like this time of year?

Answer

For our over-seas friends and family, September is one of our favorite times of year on Long Beach Island. The summer crowds have started to thin, but the island is still warm and full of sunshine. You can typically expect comfortable temperatures in the low-to-mid 70s during the day, with cooler evenings in the mid-60s. The ocean is usually still around 70°F, so plan for a beach day! As with any beach wedding, the weather can be unpredictable, so we recommend bringing a light layer for the evening and pack accordingly.
