Rocky Mountain National Park
If you come to Colorado, Rocky Mountain is definitely the place you don't wanna miss. Wildlife, hiking, camping, this is the scenic trip everyone enjoys. Take a deep breath of the mountain air when you hike up and feel like you're on top of the world!
Red Rocks Amphitheatre
Concerts at Red Rocks can be quite an experience if you have a free evening during your stay in Colorado. Please plan to arrive early to avoid traffic, study parking before you go, be prepared for the hike up and the cool night temperature. But if you don't plan to go to the concerts, Red Rocks looks magnificent in sunlight too! Sunscreen up and take a hike!
Pikes Peak
Pikes Peak is for sure an adventure to take. The mountain drive is totally worth it when you see the view along the road. And as you are in the area, you may consider Garden of Gods and other attractions in Colorado Springs, check the website: https://www.visitcos.com/things-to-do/attractions/
Staunton State Park
The closest park to our wedding venue if you are staying in the area. Family-friendly state park, plenty of hiking trails, and camping (by reservation starting July 1).
Glenwood Hot Springs Resort
If you don't mind driving a bit further out of city, outdoor activities and hot springs can be a great weekend package. There are also other hot springs in Colorado, please find the one you like the most.
Belmar
Belmar will host the 15th Annual Festival Italiano on Sept. 7 & 8, 2019. You can enjoy Italian food, wine, and authentic Italian performances there. There are also all kinds of shopping, dining, and entertainment options in Belmar.
Golden City Brewery
You will find a lot of interesting breweries in Colorado, but I feel the obligation to recommend this one supports Mines community.
Coors Brewery Tour
Well, this one too. Coors offers tour to their massive brewery and you get three 8-oz drinks at the end of the tour, $ 10 for out-of-Colorado adult residents.
