Question

Is it okay to take pictures with our phones and cameras during the wedding?

Answer

We are having an "Unplugged ceremony". This just means that we kindly ask that all phones and devices be put away and on silent/turned off during the ceremony. Why? Well, we've hired multiple professionals to capture some of the most important moments and we'd hate to have a well-meaning person's phone/device blocking that moment for him/her to capture. After the ceremony feel free to take as many photos as you want.

Question

What's the dress code?

Answer

Black - tie optional : For men, they should wear a dark suit with a shirt and tie (if they don’t wish to wear a tuxedo). Women should wear a floor-length gown, knee-length cocktail dress, a pantsuit, or dressy separates.

Question

Is there a shuttle to and from the hotel to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes, check out our Travel & Accommodations page for all the info you need.

Question

What should I do if I can’t make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you.

Question

Are there any colors that guests should avoid wearing?

Answer

We kindly ask that you avoid colors traditionally reserved for the bride - whites, ivories, and creams.
