Please Join Our Reception

I first met Jin in dental school. She was frantically writing notes for a class I had taken the year before. This gave me the perfect opportunity to introduce myself. I quickly grabbed my notes from the year before and asked if she would like to use them. My reward was a cheese danish . . . not exactly what I had in mind (get your head out of the gutter guys). However, after a few failed attempts, I finally got my first date with Jin. Our first date took place at Keeneland on Derby Day and we were lucky enough to win $300 each! I was amazed at how easy it was to be around her. There is usually an uncomfortable tension on a first date, but this time there was none. We really meshed. From that day forward, our love has continued to grow, strengthened and motivated by each others support through the rest of dental school and now through our dental careers. I'm so grateful for Jin and am excited about our life going forward! ------------------------------------ I met Jordan during my first year of dental school. He offered to buy me a drink at the next two dental school events. However, at that time, I was dating someone else. My second year of dental school, he made the big move and asked me out! I'm so glad he did. Over the last five years we have become the best of friends. Jordan loves to learn about my culture and we watch a lot of Korean television together. He also loves to eat Korean food and I'm very happy about that. I've always longed to have a husband whom I admire and Jordan definitely fits that bill. He can talk to anyone and he make new friends in a heartbeat. He loves his patients and they love him. Jordan has supported me throughout my career, advising me and teaching me ways to be a better dentist. He is my life teacher and my best friend. I can't wait to have him in my life forever. We're a really good match and I look forward to our lives together!

We will be having two ceremonies (American and Traditional Korean) in Jin's hometown of Taebaek, South Korea on 9/29/2018. Jordan's family: Janet, Steve, Jared, and his aunt Sherri are coming with us to celebrate in Korea. Also, Jordan's best friends Cliff and Taylor are coming to attend the wedding and traveling with us to celebrate in Tokyo, Japan. We understand that this is not a trip that many can make, therefore we would like to invite you to join us for a tented wedding reception in Georgetown, Ky. at the home of Steve and Janet Smith. We will bring back lots of pictures and video to share with you so please join us to celebrate our wedding. We are currently working on setting up a livestream of the wedding so it can be watched live (but there is a 13hr time difference). More information will be given as we receive it.
