There were fireworks from the very first day we talked, as it was the Fourth of July after all! From a swipe to a like, and a few days of chatting, Jimmy asked Lindsay to go out for... you guessed it, tacos! On July 17th, 2015, we kicked off the evening with dinner at Del Seoul for korean style tacos, played games at Headquarters (it's rumored that Lindsay won most of these games this night), and enjoyed patio drinks at Kirkwoods while enduring the hot and humid July day. The night ended at Lottie’s where we convinced some our friends to crash our date with some music and dancing. It probably isn't common that our first date consisted of going to four different spots in one evening, but we were both pretty set on wishing that the night would never end. Anyone who knows us, knows very well that our relationship is filled with love, travel, board games, breweries, and of course, tacos. The rest is history and we've been living the best adventure together since!

It was the most perfect Saturday of the year! September 14th, 2019 was scheduled for sunny skies and eighty degree weather. One of our favorite city spots, Metropolitan Brewing is located on the river and is our favorite place to enjoy some afternoon drinks. We packed up the car for a night in the city (and hopefully tacos for dinner), picked up Jimmy's sister and brother-in-law and headed downtown. Fast forward to arriving at Metropolitan where we grabbed some brews at the bar and parked ourselves outside near the riverfront. While Val was taking some nice photos of us on the patio, Jimmy got down and one knee and asked Lindsay to be his forever. It seemed impossible that our day could get any better, and that is when our families and friends arrived (from as far as NY and FL). We've been celebrating this day ever since!
