Why Arizona??

Jimmy's grandparents, Dennis and Dianne, are the owners of the ever so gorgeous river house that happens to double as the perfect wedding venue. This home holds a very special place in our hearts, as many memories were made here with family, friends, and each other over the years. We are SO incredibly grateful to Dennis and Dianne for opening their home to us and our closest friends and family!

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

ASAP!! A lot of things we need to plan the wedding depend upon how many guests with be attending. We kindly ask that you respond with your RSVP in the next 6 weeks.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Pre-ceremony coctail hour will be from 3:45 - 4:15. Everyone should be finding their seats around 4:15 and the ceremony will begin at 4:30.

Where should I stay?

Answer

Refer to our travel page! There are plenty of choices available on that page. Free shuttles will be picking up and dropping off at The Hampton (next to the Best Western) and The Blue Water Resort and Casino if you will be needing a shuttle.

Is there parking for the ceremony/reception?

Answer

Since our venue is located in a residential neighborhood, parking is limited. We will have a shuttle service available picking up from The Hampton Inn (right next door to the Best Western) and the Blue Water Resort and Casino starting at 3:30pm. -We can arrange for you to drive your own car to the venue and back if you prefer (drink responsibly!) -If you are staying outside of Parker, we can secure a parking spot for you close to the house. -If you are renting a house in the neighborhood (Moovalya Keys), you are walking distance! Please let us know if you prefer to take a shuttle or drive yourself by September 12th. Please text Meg (909) 996-0030 or Jimmy (909) 632-6596 with this info. SHUTTLES BACK TO YOUR HOTEL -For those who will be enjoying our open bar, shuttles back to your hotel will also be provided. Shuttles will only take guests to their hotels in Parker, so please plan accordingly if you are staying farther away. UBER/LYFT IS NOT AVAILABLE IN THE AREA.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes! Free shuttles will be picking up guests from The Hampton (next to Best Western) and The Blue Water Casino from 3:30-4:00. We recommend lining up for the shuttle sooner than later so you can enjoy our pre ceremony coctail hour and have plenty of time to find a seat before the ceremony begins at 4:30. Please keep in mind that Uber and Lyft are not available in the area.

What should I wear?

Answer

Considering the wedding will be on the river, it will be a less formal than the average wedding. We are guessing it will also still be fairly warm at the time of our wedding (high 70's) and the entire night will be spent outside, so keep this in mind.

Why aren't children under 12 allowed?

Answer

Our main goal with this request is for everyone's safety. The backyard of the home where our wedding is taking place has a large pool and backs up to the Colorado River, with no barrier or fence keeping little ones from potentially falling into either one. We want everyone to have a good time without worrying about their children's safety. You can thank us later for a weekend to yourselves, parents!
