Please see our wedding website home page for our COVID update. We will update this whenever we have new news to share.
No! We are lucky to keep our same venue and details. Please RSVP on our site anytime over the next year before April 20, 2021. If you already responded for our original June 13th date and need to update your response, you can do so.
There are many great hotel options close to our venue on the Waterfront, including our hotel blocks in our Travel tab. That said, Boston is a very accessible city both on foot and using our public transportation system. Anywhere in the city will offer plenty of bars and restaurants by you to explore, but feel free to reach out to make sure it's a safe and fun area! Where do we start? For Maine, we would recommend Portland for sunset sailboat cruises, lobster, breweries, bars, and a quintessential Maine lighthouse picture at Cape Elizabeth. Another cute coast town is Kennebunkport, and Acadia National Park would also be a great trip, but is a long drive from Boston. For New Hampshire, we recommend North Conway area in the White Mountains and any hike on the Kancamagus Highway. Lindsay's favorite NH hike is Mount Monadnock. For Vermont, we would recommend Stowe and hiking Smuggler's Notch, as well as checking out famous breweries. Burlington is also a spot we would recommend. For Massachusetts, Lindsay's favorite part of the Cape is Provincetown, and it is accessible via a high speed ferry from Boston Harbor. Chatham is another beautiful part of the cape with the picturesque hydrangea flowers and white washed shingle houses. For Rhode Island, Newport is our highest recommendation. Explore on the Cliff Walk, the famous mansions, or downtown.
We LOVE kids! However, we have decided to make this an adult-only affair. We hope you understand!
Managing a large guest list is hard! Check your invite to see if it includes a date. If not, we ask that you please come solo.
The ceremony will take place at St. Francis de Sales Church in Charlestown, about 2 miles from the city and our venue. The ceremony begins at 5:30 and we ask you show up 10-15 minutes prior to the start. The reception will be held at the New England Aquarium, and cocktail hour begins at 7:00PM. After transporting from the church to the venue, if there is time to spare there is a patio bar right outside of the aquarium!
Yes. We will be providing shuttles to and from the Church. Details on departure time and location are forthcoming.
Of course! We have already talked with our chef as we know we have some gluten free friends and severe shellfish allergies. They will accomodate any restriction, so please reach out with any concerns! Lindsay: lindsayqmcsweeney@gmail.com Jimmy: jimmyliber@gmail.com
