As of right now, we are proceeding as planned. We are closely monitoring all current events and will let everyone know if anything changes. The safety of our guests is very important to us, and we will abide by any COVID-19 protocols the state of Maryland enact and safety measures at that time.

What's the attire?

Dress up! When you're a guest of a wedding, you're showing the couple that you are making an effort and that you're happy to be there for them! There will be plenty of opportunities to take pictures and talk to new people.

What kind of food will be served?

Answer

Traditional Vietnamese Wedding Reception dinner is Asian cuisine that consists of 5-7 courses. Typical foods would include soup, seafood, meat, fried rice, fruit trays, cake, and alcohol. These dishes are brought to the table and are served in a "family" fashion where each person serves themselves. Use the communal spoon and not your own utensils when reaching into the dishes.

Do you have a wedding registry?

Answer

Traditional Vietnamese Weddings will not have a wedding registry. In our culture, it is more appreciated if the couple were gifted cash, as it will help pay for the wedding or help the couple get started with their new life's journey. Throughout the dinner reception, the parents and parts of the wedding party will escort the bride and groom to each table to thank the guests. When this part of the reception happens, this would be the time to congratulate and drink with the couple, if you didn't get a chance to previously.
