The ceremony is at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel in Doylestown, PA and the reception events at HollyHedge Estate in New Hope, PA (10 miles/15 minutes apart). The ceremony begins at 1:00p, and cocktail hour at 5p. There will be a break in-between events.
Since there is a mid-afternoon time gap, it is a good time to make your way closer to the New Hope reception site to evade Friday rush hour traffic. If you are staying overnight in a local hotel or inn, this is a good time to check in and collect yourself. We'll let you know if any orchestrated pre-cocktail hour activities are arranged. However, Peddler's Village is right down the road, and is a good place to grab a drink in your fancy outfit for an hour or so.
Yes! Immediate family and wedding party members will stay on-site at HollyHedge. However, their sister property (1740 House) is right down the road, and we do have a block at that hotel. We also have a room block at New Hope Inn and Suites- see the 'Travel' tab for more information.
For the ceremony (at a Catholic church), we do recommend to leave scandalous clothing at home. Beyond that guidance, dress for the ceremony and reception are at your discretion-- wear what you like!
Unfortunately, children and pets will only be allowed onsite briefly as the wedding party takes photos at HollyHedge in the 2:30-4:30 time slot. If you want to see Hans in a tuxedo, stop by around this time.
