Things To Do in Stockholm

Fotografiska

Fotografiska

22 Stadsgårdshamnen, Södermalm, Stockholms län 116 45, Sweden

Fotografiska is a great photography museum and one of our favorite museums in Stockholm!

The Vasa Museum

The Vasa Museum

14 Galärvarvsvägen, Östermalm, Stockholms län 115 21, Sweden

This is a fun museum with a super well-preserved warship from 1628. It's also really close to the Abba Museum, Nordiska Muséet and the amusement park Gröna Lund.

Gröna Lund

Gröna Lund

9 Lilla Allmänna Gränd, Östermalm, Stockholms län 115 21, Sweden

If you're looking for roller coasters, haunted houses, and cotton candy, Jimmy might suggest heading to Gothenburg to visit Liseberg. But Gröna Lund is not too bad (and Johanna did work here for a summer in 2016)!

The ABBA Museum

The ABBA Museum

68 Djurgårdsvägen, Östermalm, Stockholms län 115 21, Sweden

We've actually never visited the ABBA Museum, but we've heard it's a fun outing! It's also the 50th anniversary of them winning the Eurovision Song Contest with Waterloo and Sweden's hosting Eurovision in May, so it's the perfect time to visit the ABBA Museum. It's also located right next to Gröna Lund for those of you who want to make a whole day out of it.

Skansen

Skansen

49-51 Djurgårdsslätten, Östermalm, Stockholms län 115 21, Sweden

Skansen is an open-air museum with historic houses and a zoo with Nordic animals. Definitely worth a visit if the weather's nice!

Fjäderholmarna

Fjäderholmarna

Fjäderholmarna, Stockholm County 111 15, Sweden

One of the best parts of Stockholm is its archipelago. Fjäderholmarna is the island closest to the city center, only a 20-minute boat ride away. If you want to experience Swedish summer at its best – this is the place to go!

Vete-Katten

Vete-Katten

55 Kungsgatan, Norrmalm, Stockholms län 111 22, Sweden

This is one of our favorite places in Stockholm. They have great traditional Swedish fika (a Swedish word for coffee and pastries), and is actually where we went on our first date!
