We're getting married!

Jimmy and Hannah met at the height of COVID in July 2020. Hannah was close friends with Jimmy’s upstairs neighbors, and since no one could really go out, everyone was looking for new ways to socialize. Stuck inside, we came up with the next best idea — befriending the downstairs neighbors. Before long, hanging out became part of our daily routine. We’d play card games, binge Love Island, shared bottles of wine together and bake yummy treats. What started as a simple friendship between Hannah and Jimmy quickly turned into something much more. Dating during COVID came with its challenges, but it also brought us closer together — helping us learn more about each other faster than we ever might have if the world hadn’t paused. Now, after more than four and a half years together, we’re incredibly grateful for how our love story began and everything that lies ahead. After countless “oh, that reminds me” fake proposals, Jimmy finally got down on one knee in April 2025 on the Chicago Riverwalk and asked Hannah to marry him. The surprises didn’t stop there — he had arranged a dinner at Gibson’s, where Hannah walked in to find her parents waiting to embrace her all the way from Buffalo. With both of our parents by our side, our hearts were full of love and joy — it was a night we’ll cherish forever.
