Question

What are the current COVID guidelines in New Orleans?

Answer

New Orleans city guidelines require all individuals over the age of 5 to provide proof of vaccination or proof of an official negative PCR, molecular, or antigen test taken within 72 hours before entry (must include the individual’s name, date of the test, and results clearly visible on an official report) for all indoor spaces in the city. At-home tests are not considered valid at this time. The city has recently announced these guidelines will remain in place through March. You can read more and keep up with the latest updates here: ready.nola.gov/incident/coronavirus/safe-reopening/

Question

What COVID precautions will be in place at wedding events?

Answer

We will follow all city guidelines for each of our wedding events. This includes all guests over age 5 being required to provide proof of vaccination or proof of an official negative PCR, molecular, or antigen test taken within 72 hours before entry (must include the individual’s name, date of the test, and results clearly visible on an official report). At-home tests are not considered valid. If indoor mask mandates are reinstated, we will follow those guidelines as well. All venues will have outdoor space as an option for guests who would prefer to remain outdoors, with the exception of the 15-30 minute vow renewal ceremony, which will be indoors at the Marigny Opera House. We ask that all guests please be considerate of varying comfort levels of other guests and of our venue staff and respect any and all requests for distancing or mask usage expressed by guests or by event staff. Please reach out if you have any additional questions. We want everyone to feel comfortable and safe!
