Train
We'll be taking a train from Rome Fiumicino (FCO) to Termini in Rome to Florence Santa Maria Novella (SMN) Train Station. More details regarding purchasing tickets will be provided in the upcoming months.
Rental Car
The villa host recommended to rent a car to travel around town and get to and from the villa. Car rentals are available at the Santa Maria Novella Train Station in Florence, and we can share vehicles. Details regarding who will book the rental car can be discussed as we get closer.
House Or Rental
We rented this 8 apartment villa which has 5 two-room apartments and 3 three-room apartments. Apartments will be assigned ahead of time. The villa provides a welcome buffet upon arrival on Satuday, June 1 with check-in at 3 pm. The villa grounds include a large solarium with swimming pool, chairs, and wooden sunbeds, surrounded by olive trees.
Travel Note
We are required to check-out of the villa on Saturday, June 8th. From here, any travel plans can be made independently. The bride and groom plan on returning to Rome for a few nights and continuing onto our honeymoon from there! Flight recommendations: Departing Flight - Sunday 6/9/24 (In order to accommodate the travel time from the villa, to Florence, to Rome, we recommend staying in Rome on Saturday 6/8 and departing from Rome to Boston on 6/9) DL113 Depart ROME: 10:30 am Arrive Boston: 1:55 pm
