We're Getting Married!

Jimmy and Felicia both ended up at the same hospital for their medical technology internship year. The first thing the group did was play Two Truths and a Lie as an icebreaker. As one of her truths, Felicia said she played Dungeons and Dragons. Jimmy piped up with a smile, "If that one's true, we're gonna be friends."

Jimmy knew that Felicia liked to play Magic: The Gathering, so he said that maybe they could get together and play some time. The interns happened to have a day without an afternoon lecture, so Felicia messaged Jimmy the night before suggesting that they bring their cards and play for a bit the next day at the hospital. The two of us brought our things and Jimmy kicked Felicia's butt to her surprise. After internship that day, the interns all went out to Mount Clemens for a drink at Three Blind Mice. After leaving, Jimmy and Felicia started chatting on SnapChat for hours.

Since playing Magic and hanging out at Three Blind Mice, we talked a lot and hung out a few times until Feb. 7th when it became clear that we both had caught feelings for each other. Jimmy asked Felicia on a date, and she came over after internship that Friday to hang out, watch Shameless, and take a nap. In the middle of an exhausting internship: best date ever! Felicia was feeling this thing out even though Jimmy was ready to jump into a relationship with her from the time he asked Felicia on their first date. Our first date out was to Terry's Terrace right by Felicia's apartment. Once Felicia saw how spiffy Jimmy looked when he cleaned up, that was that. She almost asked a few times before he left that night, but she was too nervous to spit it out right away. As Jimmy was driving away, Felicia ran out of her apartment to stop him. He rolled down his window as she leaned in and asked, "Do you want to be my boyfriend?" and he replied, "Yes, please."

Jimmy took Felicia on vacation to Frankenmuth, revisiting one of the first places they went together as a couple the summer before, right after finishing internship. It was a private proposal in the hotel room before taking her on a date through the lit up winter trees to the local wine bar for a romantic evening.
