Instead of a classic "boy meets girl" moment, our road to loving each other took the long way around as we grew up together and began to notice the "boy/girl next door". We met when we were each in our early teens, when the Townsend family became the new kids in town. Our friendship became more personal later on, though, as we each shared our love of music with each other and... the feelings it conveys (wink wink). She would send a song, he would send one back. Slowly, between secret messages hidden in song lyrics, a mutual interest began to grow. Ever true to the slow burn, we each waited, observed, and came to appreciate the shared values, goals, and (to each of our surprise and relief) the heart of the other person. And as they say, the rest is history. We are so grateful to everyone who has supported, taught, and shown us love through the years as we have grown up to be the people we are and have the relationship that we do today. We thank Jehovah to be a part of such a special, loving family and to have the opportunity now to form our own.
