Hitting up the CT Wine Trail is a great idea for a relaxing fall day! Our favorites include: Stonington Winery Hawk Ridge Winery & Crystal Ridge Winery (one of our favorite date spots!) Crystal Ridge Winery also includes an apple orchard and a picnic enviroment - great for any afternoon and evening outside!

Heublein Tower Music Festival! (the "Talcott Toot!")

Hiking up Talcott Mountain in the fall is a MUST if you're in CT! Enjoy the breathtaking fall foliage, and bring along all your friends (incluing your 4-legged ones!). If you're in town early, join the Friends of Heublein Tower for the annual Tower Toot Festival — a two-day celebration of fall, flavor, and community, set at the breathtaking summit of Talcott Mountain October 18-19th. This is more than a festival — it’s one of our two annual fundraising events supporting the preservation and restoration of the historic Heublein Tower. 🍂🌄

Talcott Mountain Collective

Live music! Good beer!! Great times!!! A favorite local hang out for the Mihaliak clan, this is a staple of our summer and fall nights. Gather around a bonfire and mix and mingle with friends (old and new). Never a bad memory made here, at the Talcott Collective.

Check out CT's historic university - and Jimmy's Alma Mater! The Historic Library is one of Dolores' favorite places to rest and read, and the campus is full of treasures. The architecture alone is well worth a visit - and don't forget to check out the art gallery, symphony orchestra, and arts centers!
