Anchor bar is where they invented chicken wings, which is a cool experience, but isn't the best wings in my opinion. Duff's Famous Wings has very good wings and has multiple locations. My favorite place to get wings is at Bar Bill Tavern, and they have locations in East Aurora and Clarence (this will be closer to Williamsville/Park Country Club).
Don't be fooled, Buffalo-style pizza is not like NYC pizza, and it's wayyyyy better than Columbus-style pizza. It has a medium-thick & fluffy crust, rich & sweet sauce, and cup-and-char pepperoni. La Nova pizza is my favorite place to get pizza in Buffalo, along with really decent wings.
This park is free to visit, aside from parking, to walk around and see Niagara Falls! You can also pay to take a ride on Maid of the Mist (a boat that brings you close to the falls), visit Cave of the Winds (a walk to a cave where you're able to get close to the falls), or ride the Whirlpool jet boats (an intense boat ride where you ride in the rapids of Niagara Falls). Fair warning you get soaked in all these attractions & I recommend wearing a swim suit under clothes you don't mind getting wet. Passports are not needed. See more information below!
Maid of the Mist is when you take a slow boat ride close to the falls, as seen in The Office Episode when Jim and Pam get married. I recommend wearing clothes you feel comfortable getting soaked in, or wearing a bathing suit under your clothes. Adult tickets are $30, child tickets are $20.
This is a walk to a cave where you're able to get close to the fallsI recommend wearing clothes you feel comfortable getting soaked in, or wearing a bathing suit under your clothes. Adult tickets are $23, child tickets are $19.
This is a really fun, but intense boat ride where you ride in the rapids of Niagara Falls. I recommended wearing a swim suit under clothes you don't mind getting wet. Adult tickets are $67, child tickets are $40. Children must be 44 in to ride.
The Buffalo AKG Art Museum (formerly the Albright-Knox Art Gallery) is one of the oldest museums dedicated to the art of our time, and the sixth-oldest public art institution in the United States. It features artists such as Edgar Degas, Paul Gauguin, Claude Monet, Pierre-Auguste Renoir, and Vincent van Gogh. Adult tickets are $22, youth tickets are $10, children under 4 yrs old have free admission.
Frank Lloyd Wright's legacy can be found all over Buffalo. The architect's decades-long friendship with Darwin Martin, the man who may have been his most important patron, led to the construction of more than a half dozen of his designs here - and made Buffalo one of the premier destinations to tour Wright's work more than a century later. The Martin House Complex features hundreds of art glass windows, including Wright's famous "Tree of Life" design, and an overhanging roof that blends the interiors with the surrounding landscape.
You can walk around, tour the Buffalo Naval park, grab a drink on the water at Resurgence (brewery), and have dinner Liberty Hound (upscale bar food).
Riverworks is Buffalo's boating, sports bar, music and entertainment destination located along the banks of the Buffalo River. You can zip line, ride the ferris wheel, rock climb, kayak, climb a high ropes course, or eat dinner all on the waterfront.
