Due to the chaos that defines 2020, we decided to change our original wedding plans. We got married by Jimmy's Uncle Steve with our immediate families on September 22 in on the Outer Banks off the coast of North Carolina. We are excited to celebrate with all of you at a reception in Baja in summer 2021. We will continue to update our guests and add details and information to this site. In the meantime stay in touch, safe and healthy!

That’s right, they met during the great Tinder boom of 2014 - they both swiped right. Jimmy kept name dropping Charlottesvillians, and once Clare realized he seemed to know more of them than she did, they made a date. Then countless camping trips, halloween costumes, vacations with friends and family, a house in Encinitas, negronis, a dog, another dog, and here we are!

Jimmy suggested they take Eddy to dog beach. Approximately 10,000 other people had the same idea but Jimmy finessed a strategy to get Clare alone by walking waaaaaay far down the beach. When they finally found a quiet cove, Jimmy asked Clare to pose with Eddy for a picture and when she looked up, he was on one knee. They went to Culture for a celebratory beer before a ride in a hot air balloon - something they have both always wanted to do. It was a perfect day!
