It was a warm and breezy evening in Key West, Florida on June 4, 2023. My "Boo Boo" and I had decided to treat ourselves to a dinner at a quaint seafood restaurant near the ocean. Little did I know that this dinner would be one of the most memorable moments of my life. As we sat down at our table, sipping on glasses of chilled white wine and enjoying the fresh sea breeze, my fiancé seemed more nervous than usual. He kept fidgeting with his napkin and avoiding eye contact with me, which made me wonder if something was wrong. My boo boo who is a man of few words, finally mustered up the courage to speak. He cleared his throat and took my hand in his, looking deep into my eyes with love and sincerity. And then, he said those four magical words: "Will you marry me?" I was completely taken aback by the suddenness of his proposal, but tears welled up in my eyes as I realized what was happening. With a huge smile on my face, I nodded enthusiastically while shouting OMG!!! OMG!!! ITS HAPPENING!!!! I said "Yes!" to him. The entire restaurant erupted into cheers and applause as my fiancé slipped a beautiful diamond ring onto my finger. It sparkled so radiantly in the sunlight and we shared a sweet kiss, sealing our promise to spend the rest of our lives together. As we toasted to our future happiness with glasses of champagne, I couldn't help but feel overwhelmed with joy and gratitude. Not only had my fiancé chosen the perfect setting for his proposal – surrounded by the beauty of Key West and the taste of fresh seafood – but he had also captured my heart in a way that I would never forget.

In the spring of 2022, my fiancé and I fell deeply in love during a getaway to Dallas.
