Why a camp wedding?

Short answer: We want to spend more time with you!

Our goal for our wedding is to spend as much time with our amazing friends and family as possible. Not only do we want more time with our guests, but we want time and space for our loved ones to meet and mingle. We look forward to a weekend full of lake front games, ziplines, bonfires, pickleball, dancing and blobbing.

Why Camp Rockmont?

Because it feels straight out of a Wes Anderson movie!

Camp Rockmont reminds Maddie of her many summers at Camp Hanes and Jimbo of his family trips to Wisconsin. Camp Rockmont was once a small arts college and is now an all boys summer camp. The camp has preserved a lot of the historic architecture and has a warm and nostalgic feel. We hope you will fall in love with the small wooden cabins, winding trails, beautiful lake views and fun gathering spaces just as we did.

What does staying on a camp entail?

It means getting to feel like a kid again!

We know that staying in cabins is not a traditional wedding experience. Guests that stay on the property will be roomed with other friends in cabins and lodges, and share communal spaces (e.g. bathrooms) with people who we know they are comfortable with. We hope this facilitates lots of porch hangs, eno naps, star gazing and belly laughs. You will also be walking distance from all meals, events and activities of the weekend!
