This is a zoo specifically about the Sonoran Desert animals and plants. Walk around the grounds and see all the flowers and plants and cactus that grow here, catch a glimpse of a mountain lion, a pack of javelinas sleeping in the shade, and see the many reptiles and critters that inhabit this beautiful ecosystem!

An old mining town that is now a vibrant little town that mingles artsy and vintage sensibilities with a burgeoning lgbt, punk, hippy young community. Check out the great antique and thrift shops, enjoy some delish food, and get ready to walk all around this steeply hilled town. Maybe even try your hand at the 1000 Step Staircase for a great view!
On the southern edge of the 'Greater Phoenix Area' you'll find Queen Creek which has some of our favorite spots in the AZ capitol - Four Peaks Brewing Company, Old Ellsworth Brewing Company, and Queen Creek Olive Mill (olives grown and olive oil produced on site!).
