What are the COVID safety protocols?

Answer

The Graduate is following the COVID 19 rules and regulations. The room capacity is 600, therefore we had to cut our guest list to under 25%. We have the whole floor of the hotel to spread out and safely mingle. There will unfortunately be no big dance party, but feel free to spontaneously dance with your partner if the mood strikes! Currently there is a mask mandate unless seated at your dinner table eating. Tables will be assigned and set four people (six if family) at an eight person table due to state mandate. What is the parking situation?

Answer

Due to Covid, there is no valet. The hotel surface lot is self-park, with in/out privileges, for $25 for both hotel guests and non-guests subject to availability. They are currently enforcing the "honors system" and the gate arms are up. Public parking is available in the U of M's Washington Avenue ramp adjacent to the Hotel with hourly rates or $13 for 24 hours. Metered parking is also available within walking distance.

What is around The Graduate Hotel?

Answer

Attached to the property is an Applebee's and a Starbucks. Sally's Saloon, a popular U of M bar, is within walking distance as well as a Walgreens and various other retailers.

Answer

Is there public transit nearby?

Answer

The East Bank Station of the green line of the Metro Transit Light Rail is a block away from the venue. If you are not staying at The Graduate, there are other hotels off the light rail stations that would make a convenient trip to and from the wedding! https://www.metrotransit.org/

Is there any outdoor space?

Yes, there is a private outdoor terrace outside the ballroom to step away and get some fresh air!
