Jim and I ran into each other online and started chatting. We chatted for weeks before exchanging numbers and we text constantly until we started calling each other. We were ALWAYS on the phone. Jim was in Illinois while I was in Colorado. We'd stay on the phone for hours, often falling asleep just to wake up still on the phone! There was an instant connection. We reached the point where we both "like-liked" each other and decided it was time to meet. Jim made the first trip to Colorado and we fell in love. We took turns visiting back and forth until July of 2014 when Jim decided to move to Colorado. Best day ever! Things just kept getting better! In 2015 we gave birth to our amazing daughter Baylee and grew our little family into the perfect bunch! We spent an amazing 4 years in Florida while Jim and Baylee could get to know my mom and of course, she loved them both! After she passed we came back to Colorado to continue our love story! Jim had made plans for my birthday to go out with friends and unbeknownst to me, propose! Thanks to COVID the night didn't go as planned and the proposal didn't happen. I got home the next day after work and Jim told me things didn't work out the way he wanted them too. He brought me a cupcake and I saw the ring in it!! He got down on one knee and said some wonderful, amazing things and asked me to be his wife!! Through tears I of course said yes!!! It has definitely been a challenge planning a wedding during this time but we have persevered and are so happy to have you share our special day with us. ❤️
