Is this an all inclusive resort?

When do I need to get my passport?

Answer

ASAP (Processing time is 8-11 weeks) If you previously have a passport, please make sure it does not expire within 6 months of arrival day. They will not let you in their country. Ex: If passport expires on or before March 2024, you will need to renew.

Should I download the Sandals app?

Answer

Do I have to have a plus one to book a room?

Answer

No, you do not need a plus one. However, all rooms booked are based on 2 adults. So you will want to room with someone to split the cost. If you don’t want to share a room, you may stay by yourself in your room. If you want to bring a plus one that is currently not on the RSVP list, please let u know!

How am I going to get to and from the resort?

Answer

It is included in your stay. If booking flight through Sandals - You will get a packet of info 2 weeks prior to departure. If booking flight through an airline - Call Lindy and tell her your flight details and she will set it up for free.

Can I book my room through a 3rd party site? (Expedia, Travelocity, etc.)

Answer

You may. Just keep in mind, if the sandals resort is fully booked and there is no room for you, the 3rd party sites can change your reservation to another resort. You will also need to call Sandals and tell them, your arrival/departure dates so they can pick you up from airport. Booking through a 3rd party is at your own risk. If you get put into another resort for the duration of your stay, a resort fee will need to take place for you to attend the actual wedding. We recommend you book directly through Sandals so none of this happens to you.

There is an exchange bureau at Sandals Montego Bay. The Jamaican Dollar is the legal tender in Jamaica. Most merchants do accept U.S. Dollars, traveler's cheques and major credit cards, i.e. VISA®, MasterCard® and American Express®. Although everything is included, you may also want to enjoy optional on-site and off-site experiences, spa treatments, and make phone calls or purchases in our gift shops. We accept most major credit cards (MC, VISA and AMEX) at the spas, gift shops, photo shops, and the front desk. We also accept cash and Traveler's checks at the front desk, as well as cash at the gift shops. *They like USD, so no need to exchange to the Jamaican dollar upon arrival.
