We've included some cabins and other rentals in the area under the "Travel" tab on this website. Additionally, camping is available and encouraged for any that can. PLEASE let us know in advance if you would like to camp on the property. We will make sure you have a spot.
The high averages at 78 degrees while the low has an average of 58 degrees. This is North Carolina, so the temperatures can vary drastically from the average on any given day. Sunset is expected at 7:44pm.
Our wedding ceremony, cocktail hour and reception will all be outdoors. There will not be any indoor access to private homes on the property. We will have an event tent for dinner and dancing as well as mobile restroom facitities available.
This is a country wedding on a farm, over 100 years old on our dear friends', the Hall's, personal residence. High heels are discouraged. Please wear comfortable shoes that will do well in grass and dirt. We also prefer that you be comfortable rather than formal. That's just not who we are. Bring layers, as the temperature drops 20ish degrees after the sun goes down.
Glad you asked! There is none. Please make sure that you are not planning to use any data or cell services once you arrive. GPS will get you there, but once you are in the forest, we will be in the dark, digitally speaking.
Nope! Everything from grocery stores, gas stations, restaurants, etc. are at least 20 minutes away from the wedding venue.
