Jim was living in Washington, and somehow, found love in Chicago. Infatuated by Kacy’s knowledge of professional baseball, their mutual love of sports was an immediate spark. Kacy was hesitant to get mixed up with an out-of-town football coach, but ultimately took a leap of faith and visited Jim on the West Coast. Flights and FaceTimes became the new norm after an incredible visit. An opportunity for Jim to return to the Midwest helped their love flourish. The rest is history. It was only fitting that the two got engaged on a weekend where they were both doing what they love. Kacy was covering the Chicago Bears at Ford Field in Detroit and Jim coached against his Michigan Wolverines in Ann Arbor. They can’t wait to celebrate love with their closest friends and family!
