FAQs

Question

Is lodging covered at the venue?

Answer

Our favorite answer, it depends. If you received an invitation with a “Be Our Guest” VIP card, your accommodations are included, free of charge. If you did not receive one but are interested in joining us, we do have some additional availability. Please reach out to Jessica Abshire for more details.

Question

Is there a shuttle?

Answer

No need for a shuttle as our venue has a spacious parking lot located next to the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. All are wheelchair accessible.

Question

Is there cellular reception at the venue?

Answer

Yes, there is reception for mobile phones at the venue.

Question

How should we dress for an outdoor ceremony?

Answer

The weather typically ranges from high 40s to low 60s in early November. Weather permitting, the ceremony will be outside close to sunset and may need outdoor attire; lap blankets will be provided. Cocktails and reception are onsite and indoor. In case of cold weather, rain, or snow, we will move indoors for the ceremony. Please continue to check back as we approach the wedding for weather updates.

Question

What is the deadline to RSVP? Can we bring a plus 1, date, or kids?

Answer

Please RSVP asap no later than September 15th so we can ensure accurate counts for ceremony and reception. Unfortunately, we have limited seating for the reception and can only include party specified in your invitation. You can type your name into our RSVP section to see who is included in your party.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Please let Jim or Jessica know if you have a food allergy or special accommodation.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Yes! Please refer to the Registry tab on our website. We are registered there, Target, Amazon, and Sur la Table.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony starts at 4:15 pm, much appreciated if you can ensure your party is seated and ready to celebrate with us by 4 pm.

Question

Are there additional events, things to do around Sarver?

Answer

Yes! For those arriving on Friday, there's an open invite to meet after rehearsal dinner for drinks at Cellar Works Brewing Company (refer to Schedule tab on our website for directions). Nothing official is planned for Sunday, though guests are highly encouraged to organize a group brunch or activity meetup before heading out. Reminder Monday, November 11th, is a holiday so there's no rush.

Question

Is it true it's a Holiday Weekend?!?

Answer

Indeed, Monday, November 11th is Veterans Day and a holiday for most. Though nothing official is planned after the wedding, we encourage you to enjoy the weekend in Pennsylvania reconnecting with friends, family, or enjoying the various parks and activities around.

Question

When should we check in and out of wedding venue lodging?

Answer

If you're special guest VIP, you can arrive at the venue lodging anytime after 10 am Friday and stay through Sunday morning. Please let Jessica know your ETA to coordinate for your arrival. All guests should depart no later than 10 am on Sunday morning after the wedding.
