Don't stay north of castaway island of Havelock or south of trading city of Morehead City on Rt. 70.  Nor should ye travel further west than Morehead City on NC Rt. 24. We are about 15 minutes from both "cities." There's nothing decent (that I'm aware of - who knows if there could be a fine little AirBnB) in our miniature township of Newport. The rooms in our abode have been snatched up by the early birds. Feel free to speak to one of them if you'd like to bunk up :)

Uber/Lyft/etc are limited in these areas.  Taxis are available with a little preplanning (or continued drinking time) to get you from A to B.
