Where are the wedding and reception taking place?

Answer

Both the wedding ceremony and reception celebration will be outside on a full grass backyard.

What should I wear?

Answer

Please wear something you are comfortable in. We consider this to be semi-formal or dressy-casual. Think button-down shirts, collared shirts, slacks, khakis, dresses, skirts, blouses. We strongly advise against thin heels as we will be on grass, but ultimately, the choice is yours!

What happens if it rains?

Answer

The show must go on! We will have ample tent space to make sure everyone stays dry and warm, but we are planning on keeping the party outside rain or shine. Please keep this in mind when dressing. October weather can be a little unpredictable. Planning for it to be a little chilly as the sun sets is recommended.

Will there be beer/liquor?

Answer

Of course! We will have a variety of all drinks, both soft and hard. If you would like to bring something special or your favorite drink to sip on, please do! We will have plenty of ice on hand to keep your drinks cool. Feel free to bring a personal cooler for anything you would like to keep just for yourself!

What should I expect?

Answer

We would not consider our celebration a "traditional" wedding. We wanted to keep our guest list intimate, our ceremony short and sweet, and focus on enjoying our time with our loved ones with good food and music.
