Both of us have moved around a fair amount and we're both lucky to have called various corners of our country home. But our story begins in a sleepy little southern town called Greenville, South Carolina, where our fairly disparate paths just so happened to cross. In 2014, Timmy (a Chicago native living in Boston) was presented with a job opportunity that brought him from the red bricks of Massachusetts to the back roads of South Carolina. A little less than a year later, Jillian (a California native living in Oregon) was also presented with an opportunity that brought her from the Portland pines to the same small town...and the same small company. Not only did we work together, we also lived on the same floor of the same apartment complex and ran in the same circle of friends. From grabbing lunch together at work, to frequenting Gringo's (our favorite Mexican restaurant turned dive bar) on Friday night with friends, to road tripping down to Charleston for the 4th of July, and many more experiences in between, it didn't take long for us to realize that we were becoming more than just colleagues or friends. So eventually we started dating and the rest is history. Since then, we have lived on Hilton Head Island, South Carolina and now in Nashville, Tennessee. Our addresses have changed, our careers have evolved, our friendships have grown, but our relationship has remained a steady constant through it all. And when a pandemic rained on our original wedding plans, we tied the knot anyway because this love just couldn't wait. Now, we're so excited to celebrate our marriage the way that we intended to - with all of our favorite people there to light up the dance floor alongside us!
