Downtown Decatur

The 2nd Avenue Shopping District, near the Cook Museum of Natural Science and Princess Theatre for Performing Arts, has records, household goods, books, art, and more. It has delectable food options from the Brick Deli and Tavern(www.brickdeli.com) to Mellow Mushroom Pizzeria, Moe's Original BBQ, and Tess's Place Ice Cream Parlor where all dogs are welcome! We had our first date at The Brick and have taken multiple dates going back along with going to the newly added Tess's Ice Cream and Gift Shop!

Delano Park

A park in town that is the top Pokémon go spot. This is part of our first date and a good portion of our story! It has lots to enjoy with a playground and splash pad, walking paths and flower garden, and game courts.

U.S. Space & Rocket Center

We love taking dates and visitors here, especially when they have new exhibits like they do now! The U.S. Space & Rocket Center in Huntsville, Alabama is a museum showcasing rockets, achievements, and artifacts of the U.S. space program.

A food outlet location with options everyone will salivate over! It has indoor and outdoor seating, live music and games to enjoy. This is our top dinner date night spot for its ramen, crepes, and milkshakes!

An old Cotton Mill was redeveloped to house over 150 working studios where you can shop around for one-of-a-kind pieces or learn a new skill and come home with amazing artwork of your own creation. You can make and paint pottery, make a rug, take blacksmith classes, and so much more!
